 # 11 - Shealy's Pond-
-
Heritage Preserve-

 Rated: Easy to Moderate

 1.4 miles, loop trail

This enjoyable, often squishy hike is one of the best

places in Lexington County to see and photograph

birds. After leaving the parking area, the trail quickly

makes a short descent, where the trail skirts the

namesake pond's western edge. Here you'll find several-
-openings with good vistas of the pretty pond. Wear-
-some shoes that you don't mind getting wet; some of-
-the trail might be a few inches underwater!
